1. Who these terms are between
These terms apply between you, as a reader, and Mimo-mind s.r.o., Náchodská 102/232, Horní Počernice, 193 00 Praha 9, Czech Republic, company registration 09186824, which publishes the website barecanvas.online. Reading the site means these terms apply to that reading. Nothing on the site requires you to register, pay or agree to anything else.
2. What this site is
Bare Canvas is a written course of general information about online PC games, aimed at readers in Australia who are new to the subject. It is editorial material and nothing more. It is not professional advice of any kind — not legal, financial, technical or security advice — and it is not a substitute for advice about your own situation. It is not accredited training: there is no enrolment, no assessment, no certificate and no qualification, and completing it confers no status.
3. Accuracy and change
The course is reviewed from time to time, with the review date shown in the footer of every page. Even so, the subject moves: software requirements change, publishers revise their terms, and government guidance is reorganised. Details about any product mentioned here may be out of date by the time you read them, and the vendor's own site is the authoritative source for what that vendor offers.

4. Links to other sites
The course links to sites operated by others. Those sites are outside the control of Mimo-mind s.r.o., and we are not responsible for their content, availability, terms or handling of your personal information. A link is a pointer, not an endorsement, and implies no relationship beyond what is described on our funding page.
5. Affiliate links
Some links on this site are paid affiliate links. If you follow one and complete a sign-up at the destination, Mimo-mind s.r.o. may be paid a commission by the affiliate network that operates the link. The price you pay is unaffected. Any purchase or account you create at the destination is a matter between you and that operator, under their terms, and Mimo-mind s.r.o. is not a party to it and cannot assist with it.
6. Intellectual property
The text and design of this site are the property of Mimo-mind s.r.o. You may read it, print the checklists for your own use, and quote short passages with attribution and a link. Republishing it in substantial part requires our written permission.
All brand names on Bare Canvas, World of Warships among them, are the property of their owners. Except for the paid affiliate links described on our funding page, none of those owners is affiliated with Bare Canvas, and none has endorsed or sponsored it.
7. Liability
Mimo-mind s.r.o. provides this site as general information and, to the extent permitted by law, excludes liability for loss arising from reliance on it or from the use of any third-party site reached from it.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that applies to you under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a guarantee applies and cannot be excluded, our liability is limited, to the extent the law permits, to resupplying the material or paying the cost of resupply. Information about consumer guarantees is published by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission at https://www.accc.gov.au.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, where Mimo-mind s.r.o. is established, and the courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.
That choice does not displace the protections available to you as a consumer under the law of your own place of residence. If you are reading this in Australia, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and your ability to pursue them continue to apply regardless of this clause.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may be revised. The effective date at the top of this page is updated when that happens, and the version published here is the one that applies.
